Self Defence Instructor Course
British Krav Maga is running a Self Defence instructor Course here in Weston super mare. The course is 5 days long and includes a BTEC level 3 Advanced Diploma in Self Defence.
Who is the course for
The Self Defence Instructor Course is aimed at individuals wanting a recognised Self Defence Instructor Qualification.
The BTEC Award equips instructors to teach Self Defence to members of the general public, staff in the Public Sector, Healthcare, Education or Care Sectors. Contents can also be adapted to teach to children. Course content can be tailored to meet the specific needs of each specific group and enables the instructor in conjunction with the awarding body, to award L.2 BTEC to participants over 16 years old.
Please note: This is a Reality Based Instructor Qualification designed to help you apply your existing training to a set of scenarios, it is not a Krav Maga Instructor course. Whilst training solutions will be offered, candidates are encouraged to experiment with various solutions.
Course Requirements
- Candidates are required to do 30+ hours pre course online learning via material provided.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Over 18 years of age.
- There are are no prior training requirements – however it is an advantage.
- Health – due to the subject matter, participants must be in good health and capable of supervising/demonstrating for others.
